Coach Cooper returns to the Eastern Volleyball Academy coaching staff, bringing nearly 20 years of experience and a well-established reputation in the South Jersey volleyball community. A former player at Williamstown High School under Coach Chris Sheppard, he began his coaching career in 2006 as an assistant for the Williamstown girls’ varsity team. In 2011, he took over as Head Coach of the boys’ varsity program, where he has continued to build a culture of excellence, teamwork, and consistency.

Coach Cooper has been instrumental in the success of Williamstown volleyball, playing a key role in the girls’ program’s most recent NJSIAA Group 4 State Championship in 2024. Known for his calm leadership style and strong player relationships, he brings a team-first mentality and a deep love for the game to every practice and match.

His coaching philosophy centers on helping athletes grow both on and off the court by fostering a positive, competitive environment built on effort, respect, and accountability. Coach Cooper’s steady leadership and long-standing commitment to developing players make him a valuable part of the EVA program. We’re proud to have him back on staff this season.
