Club Director, 17 Gold Head Coach
Coach Sam Bevilacqua returns as the Head Coach of Eastern Volleyball Academy’s 17 Gold team for her ninth season with the club. With experience spanning from beginner to collegiate-level coaching, Sam brings a well-rounded and deeply informed perspective to athlete development.
As Co-Director of EVA, Sam plays a vital role in shaping the vision and operations of the club. She leads not only on the court, but across multiple areas of the organization—including directing the Beach Program, overseeing recruiting and social media efforts, and serving on the Board of Directors.
In addition to her work with EVA, Coach Sam is the Head Coach at Rowan College of South Jersey. She competed as a collegiate beach volleyball player at Eckerd College and as an indoor player at West Chester University. She also holds a Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science – Applied Sports Performance, further enhancing her ability to support athletes both physically and mentally.
From her early days coaching in high school to now helping guide the future of the club, Coach Sam brings passion, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. She is dedicated to creating a positive, challenging, and supportive environment that helps players grow as athletes and individuals. Her leadership continues to be a cornerstone of EVA’s success.
